Fresha’s FAQ says there’s no minimum commitment or long-term contract, you can cancel any time, and businesses with teams get a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Enterprise is custom-priced for businesses with more than 20 team members.

The pricing page’s comparison table lists these features: calendar and appointment scheduling, waitlists, point of sale, client management, consultation forms, client ratings and reviews, retail and inventory, an online product store, quotes and invoices, reporting, marketing tools, deals and promotions, gift cards, packages, memberships, a business mobile app, group bookings, processing and finishing times, resources, and patch tests. The text version of the page doesn’t show which column each checkmark falls in, so confirm the feature you need on Fresha’s page before you sign up.

The Team plan adds team-management tools that the Independent column leaves blank: login permissions, sales commissions, wages, pay runs, timesheets with clock in and out, and service pricing and duration per team member. It also lists “multi merchant,” which routes payments directly from clients to independents.

On a $90 service paid in person, the fee is about $2.26 ($90 × 2.29% + $0.20). Paid online, it’s about $2.71. Fresha’s FAQ says processing is optional: you can run bookings, calendars, and other features without taking payments through Fresha. The page also lists upfront payments and no-show and cancellation fees as features.

Texts and emails

A solo stylist sending 400 reminder texts in a month pays for 300 of them: about $6.00 at $0.02 each.

Support and moving over

Fresha lists email support (typical response 2 days) and chat support (typical response 2 minutes) on both plans. Phone support is on Team only. Fresha says you can import client details and product inventory from your old system, and larger partners can buy paid migration packages.

What to budget

For a solo stylist on Independent who takes most payments in person: $19.95 a month plus about 2.29% + $0.20 on card sales, with free booking links. The marketplace is where costs can jump, because each new client it sends carries a 20% one-time commission.
